How to grant Overriding permissions in General Access

NOTE: You must be the administrator of your SoftMouse.NET account to grant Access Permissions

You can select individual users to override the default general access permissions which allows them to create their own permissions (ex. A temporary lab member joins for a specific experiment and needs a different permission set to their records.They can grant permission under their own user.)

Here are the steps:

1. Click the Home icon button at the far left in the top menu
2. Click the Permissions menu, then click the General Access submenu
3. There are two options in Input settings in Allow users to override default permissions:
• In the first drop-down list, select yes for all users and click Apply to All
• In the drop-down list next to user’s name, select yes for specific individual 
4. Click Save in right bottom corner
